Steven Bernstein's Sexmob

The equally experimental and shrewd slide trumpeter Steven Bernstein, formerly the musical director of John Lurie's legendary "Lounge Lizards," with his quartet attacks the ear canals as well as the audience's diaphragm. The four trivial songs spin lustily through the meatloaf of contemporary New York downtown jazz. The result is wildly weird music, spiced with a big pinch of humor, hellish, impulsive and full of adventurous soundscapes!
